UDW Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (subject to changes)
Salary: $68,640.00 to $90,000.00/year ( depending on experience)

Work Arrangements: Hybrid (three days in office with two days remote, at the manager's discretion) 

Job Summary:
The Data Coordinator will be a key support to our IT infrastructure and field organizing efforts, playing a pivotal role in our organization's data-driven strategy. This position harnesses the power of data to fuel labor growth, optimize operational efficiency, and drive informed decision-making across teams. They will interpret and translate complex datasets into actionable insights, possessing a unique blend of technical prowess and labor-organizing acumen. As a key IT team member, the Data Coordinator will manage and analyze data while proactively anticipating the evolving needs of our field teams, ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of data-driven organizing strategies. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Manage and maintain comprehensive data across various platforms, including predictive dialer systems, canvassing tools, email databases, and texting platforms.
•    Collaborate closely with field teams to anticipate and meet data needs, ensuring seamless integration of data into organizing strategies and campaign effectiveness1
•    Perform critical administrative tasks such as sending union dues reminders and managing data requests from various departments
•    Design and implement robust data collection systems to support quality initiatives, program process improvement, and regulatory compliance
•    Generate detailed reports and conduct in-depth data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and measure campaign effectiveness
•    Ensure data integrity, security, and confidentiality, adhering to legal standards, regulations, and company data guidelines
•    Utilize SQL and similar software to run complex data queries and retrieve data from various systems and databases
•    Perform data quality assurance checks, comparing data to primary source documents including electronic and hard copy records
•    Translate data into different languages or metrics when necessary, ensuring accessibility across diverse teams and stakeholders
•    Maintain accurate inventory of data storage devices such as servers, flash drives, and other external devices
•    Collaborate with other team members, technical specialists, project managers, and data analysts to optimize data management processes
•    Train, manage, and lead teams in data management best practices and procedures
•    Prepare and present comprehensive data reports by compiling information from multiple sources for meetings, presentations, and client communications
•    Identify and resolve data-related issues, discrepancies, and concerns promptly and efficiently
•    Support the leadership team in analyzing data reports and facilitating data-based decision-making during monthly meetings
•    Assist with department projects and perform assigned duties that fall within the scope of this job classification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
•    Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., VAN, PDI preferred).
•    Strong  knowledge of data management and database  
•    Working knowledge of labor organization and mobilization 
•    Knowledge of Windows server, computer operating systems including Windows & Macintosh applications.
•    Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software, and programming
•    Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel to perform many of the data cleaning tasks. 
•    Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills 
•    Ability to lean into and learn new technologies quickly.
•    Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure.
•    Strong strategic and critical thinking skills. Efficient troubleshooting abilities
•    Some knowledge and commitment to labor rights and social justice.  
•    Work effectively in team settings, as well as independently.
•    Effectively prioritize and multi-task assignments and responsibilities.
•    Keen attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Political Science, or related field preferred.
•    3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data management.
•    3 to 5 years of relevant experience in labor organizing and union organization growth.
•    Experience administering all functions of the Microsoft Office 365 platform,
•    Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
•    An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills.
•    Proven ability to successfully accomplish timely completion of multiple projects with competing deadlines. 
•    A high level of professionalism, honesty, integrity, and work ethic are essential. 
•    Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office products  
•    Strong communication, presentation, and training delivery skills
•    Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
•    Excellent time management and prioritization skills

•    Some travel is required with a reliable vehicle.
